Dayne Baird
Dayne Baird is a Managing Director focused on buyouts, privatizations and strategic minority investments throughout the United States in the aerospace, defense and government services sectors. Since joining Carlyle in 2003, Mr. Baird has been actively involved with Carlyle’s investments in Acentra Health, ARINC Incorporated, Booz Allen Hamilton, Exiger, Landmark Aviation, ManTech, Novetta, Two Six Technologies and Wesco Aircraft Holdings.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Baird worked in the M&A and Global Industrial groups of Lehman Brothers, where he focused on transactions in the industrial, aerospace and defense sectors.
Mr. Baird is a member of the boards of Acentra Health, Exiger, ManTech and Two Six Technologies.
Mr. Baird received his MBA from Georgetown University, where he was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, and received his BS in business management from Brigham Young University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
