Anna Tye
Anna Tye is a Partner and Co-Head of Technology Investing. Ms. Tye has experience in buyout and growth equity investments in enterprise software, financial technology, and tech-enabled services businesses. She is based in Washington, D.C.
Since joining Carlyle in 2009, Ms. Tye has led or been a key contributor to Carlyle’s investments in Exiger, YipitData, Abrigo, Tribute Technology, Dealogic plc (acquired by ION), ION Group, OpenLink Financial (acquired by H&F), Workforce Logiq (acquired by Magnit), and Canoe Intelligence. Ms. Tye also assisted with Carlyle’s earlier investments in SS&C Technologies (ticker: SSNC), Open Solutions (acquired by Fiserv), and CPU Technology (acquired by Boeing).
Prior to joining Carlyle, Ms. Tye was with Arcapita in Atlanta as well as with Copper Arch Capital and Morgan Stanley in New York, where she focused on technology companies.
Ms. Tye is currently a member of the boards of YipitData, Abrigo, and Tribute Technology. Previously she was on the boards at Dealogic, ION, and Workforce Logiq. Ms. Tye also serves on the Board of Visitor’s for Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering.
Ms. Tye received an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and both a BS in economics and a BA in Spanish from Duke University.
